Pickleball

Our Pickleball Sessions are from 5:30 to 6:30 every Wednesday. We play in sports halls at various

local schools, unfortunately the location is dependent on the availability of the halls (the schools

need to use them for parents’ evenings/careers fairs/exams) but we confirm details to group

members by e mail the day before.

The game is simple to play, usually as doubles, we use badminton courts with the net at 3ft. You

don’t need to buy any equipment to start, we have paddles and balls so as long as you have a pair of

trainers you are very welcome to come along and “have a go”. Most members are relative

newcomers to the game, please be assured that if your hand eye co ordination is a bit “off” at the

start we have all been there!

The charge is £3.50 per session, if you want to join us, please e mail us at

pickleball@uphollandu3a.org and we will confirm the date/location of the next session.
