What is Tai chi? Tai Chi is a series of slow gentle movements and
physical postures and can be adapted to individual needs if
necessary. It is known to increase flexibility, balance, and
coordination. All you need is comfortable clothing and flexible
footwear such as trainers.
The original group started in September 2023 and since then, has
met Friday weekly, in Upholland Methodist Church Hall, WN8 0NR. A
fully qualified instructor gives tuition. The cost is £5.
Due to its popularity, resulting in an ever-growing waiting list, it
became necessary to make changes, and a second group formed.
Tai Chi 1, the original group, runs 12.45 – 13.45 and Tai Chi 2, 14.15-
15.15
Please be aware that Tai Chi 1 is fully subscribed and places are
limited on Tai Chi 2.
For more information, please email taichi@uphollandu3a.org or
come along to the Tai Chi desk at coffee morning to have a chat.
