What is Tai chi? Tai Chi is a series of slow gentle movements and
physical postures and can be adapted to individual needs if
necessary. It is known to increase flexibility, balance, and
coordination. All you need is comfortable clothing and flexible
footwear such as trainers.
The group was established in September 2023 and since then, has
met Friday weekly, 1.30 – 2.30, at Upholland Methodist Church Hall,
WN8 0NR. A fully qualified instructor gives tuition.
Due to its popularity, resulting in an ever-growing waiting list, it has
become necessary to make changes to meet demand. From October
the existing group will continue to meet 1.30 – 2.30 (Tai Chi 1) and
the new group (Tai Chi 2), 3.00 – 4.00. Both groups will meet weekly
in the hall at Upholland Methodist Church.
Please be aware that both groups are currently fully subscribed.
