-Femoral condyles symmetric, intercondylar eminence centered

-Slight superimposition of fibular head on tibia

-Patella superimposed on femur

-Open femorotibial joint space, with equal interspaces on both sides

Lateral

-Knee flexed 20 to 30 degrees

-Femoral condyles superimposed

-Fibular head & tibia slightly superimposed

-Patella in profile

-Open patellofemoral joint space

-Open joint space between condyles & tibia
