This online training course focused on IATF 16949 by discussing the following topics:

• Chronology, statistics, and current status of IATF 16949 and related standards.

• The ISO 9000 and ISO 10000 series of standards that serve as the foundation and upgrade to IATF 16949.

• IATF 16949 Clauses 1 to 3.

• IATF 16949 clauses with requirements related to the Plan stage of the PDCA cycle (Clauses 4 to 6).

• IATF 16949 clauses with requirements related to the Do stage of the PDCA cycle (Clauses 7 and 8).

• IATF 16949 clause with requirements related to the Check stage of the PDCA cycle (Clause 9).

• IATF 16949 clause related to the Act stage of the PDCA cycle (Clause 10).

• IATF 16949 Sanctioned Interpretations (SIs).

• IATF 16949 Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs).

On 9 October 2025 Tzvetelin Gueorguiev has conducted a one-day training organized by the Union of the Metrologists in Bulgaria. The participants in the course came from companies such as FESTO, Sensata Technologies, and Lebherr Domestic Appliances Marica EOOD.

The training focused on the requirements for measurement systems in ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016, as well as the Customer-Specific Requirements (CSRs) and the AIAG reference manual for MSA.

Examples of MSA by attributes and by variables were discussed and analyzed to enhance the understanding of the MSA methodology. A suggestion to include VDA-QMC 5 "Quality Management in the Automotive Industry. Measurement and Inspection Process. Capability, Planning and Management" in future trainings is considered.

In the period 18-20 July 2023 Tzvetelin Gueorguiev delivered a 30-hour specialized course on the 5 Core Tools in the automotive industry. The training had been organized by the Continuing Education Centre at the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev". 

3 quality professionals - the Quality Manager, 3D Scan Engineer, and the Quality Inspector at Forez BG EOOD, Ruse enjoyed a series of dynamic and practical teamwork that involved communications about:

• IATF 16949:2016, 

• Sanctioned Interpretations, 

• Customer-Specific Requirements, 

• Discussion of actual documentation, 

• Application of the 5 core tools (FMEA, APQP & Control Plan, MSA, SPC, PPAP), and 

• Critical analysis of the existing and updated documentation. 

A customized companion website enhanced the overall experience of the trainees and served as a communication hub throughout the training. The website will remain active and continue to provide timely updates on the latest trends in quality management.

On 25 August 2022 Tzvetelin Gueorguiev has conducted a one-day training in partnership with MG GLOBAL/NQA Eastern Europe. 

The trainees from Karaca Plastik Bulgaria EOOD, Kardzhali, are the Team Leader for Quality, the Quality Engineer, and three Quality Inspectors dealing with IATF 16949:2016 and the related implementation of the so called 5 Core Tools.

The training was customized to the specific context of Karaca Plastik Bulgaria EOOD, their products, customers, and current state of the organization. The overview included the chronology of the 5 Core Tools, the latest editions of the specific reference guides, their relation to IATF 16949 requirements, sanctioned interpretations, and customer specific requirements.

The training was concluded by a 20-question test covering the key takeaways from the training.

The training focused on the requirements for measurement systems in ISO 9001:2015 and in IATF 16949:2016, the Customer-Specific Requirements (CSRs) and the AIAG reference manual for MSA.

Examples of MSA by attributes and by variables were discussed and analyzed to enhance the understanding of the MSA methodology.

LOTO is a safety procedure aimed at appropriate locking out and ragging out of hazardous machinery so that it cannot be restarted before the maintenance and repair activities are completed successfully. 

In cooperation with Stratons EOOD, a management workshop (10 June 2020) and 3 training sessions of Maintenance Teams (11 June 2020) have been successfully carried out at SKF Bearings Bulgaria EOOD at their plant in Sopot.

The series of trainings at SKF continued on 21 and 22 October 2020 at the SKF Sealing Solutions Business Unit at Kalofer. The initial top managament training was followed by 7 additional training sessions targeted at department managers, shift managers, and maintenance personnel.

Since 2016 Tzvetelin Gueorguiev has conducted more than 80 trainings at Witte Automotive Bulgaria EOOD of more than 840 employees which amounts to more than 330 hours of hands-on training using company-specific practical examples.

The topics cover ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, Customer-specific requirements (CSRs), and present in detail:

• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & Control Plan, including APQP, 3rd Edition, and Control Plan, 1st Edition (2024-03),

• Potential Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), including the latest AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook, 1st Edition (2019),

• Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA),

• Statistical Process Control (SPC),

• Production Part Approval Process (PPAP),

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and

• 8D Report & 5 Why-s.

On 20 January 2020, a new series of GD&T Trainings for staff from the metrological laboratory of Linamar Montupet has started. The trainees have access to a specifically designed website with training materials and examples covering key topics from the latest editions of standards such as ISO 286 and ISO 1101.
