The TXHSWS wants everyone to stay safe and healthy as they grow in skills and knowledge. Our events have special protocols in place that meet/exceed the State and Local requirements during the COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID 19 Protocols
Rules and Requirements
Each School that attends will be able to register a Build Off Team of 2-3 High School Students.
Each School will need:
A banner, flag or other to display the school name. ( School Recongition and School Spirit!)
A protable welding trailer, truck or shop set up for the event. The Build Off Team must be set up to work off grid so all power will have to come from the generator or generators that the school brings.
Welder, Grinders, cutting rig, etc any tools you would need to complete the build.
Adjustable table or work table my help.
If you need a welder let us know and we can find you a machine to use for the day.
Build Off is Limited to 20 Teams only one team per school.
If all spots are not full by the Feb 13th, Schools may be will be allowed a second team.

created and designed by Michael EllisorNOTE: Fire Pit Plan may contain welding symbols for specific weld requirements! Suprise change order will be handed out during the event, teams will have to accomodate the changes in the order and complete the build!

Each Member of the 1st Place Team will Receive $300 on NT GIft Card
Each Member of the 2nd Place Team will Receive $200 on NT GIft Card
Each Member of the 3rd Place Team will Receive $100 on NT GIft Card

All Competitors will win a JK Welding Hat and Welding Gloves!
