09/21/18 - The Texas High School Welding Series (THSWS) kicked off the 2018-19 school year at Columbus High School. This welding event sure lived up to its name "Texas Heat!" 9 schools bringing a combined 82 welding students competed in Welding, Cutting, Quiz/Tool ID, Underwater Welding and Team Building events. Schools represented Cypress Ridge, Klein Forest, Morton Ranch, Giddings, Rockdale, Schulenburg, Rice Consolidated, Jersey Village and Columbus High Schools.
