Payments can be made the day of the event by cash or check.
Payments can be handled ahead of time through JudgingCard by entering the number of students that you have registered at weldingseries.com

Royal Welding Build Off Event
Each School that attends will be able to register a Build Off Team of up to 4 High School Students.
$350 per Team
Rules
Each team will supply their own tools and power source; you must use a fuel-driven welding machine.
Welding process must be SMAW (rods will be provided)
All work must be performed by students/team members only.
Sponsors will not be allowed in the work area unless it is to assist in equipment repair or correct unsafe behavior
Work will begin at 8 a.m. and all work must stop at 4 p.m.
Team members and sponsors will observe all safety rules and regulations normally associated with hot metalwork and welding. Contest participants must wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment necessary for the tasks they are performing.
Each team will be responsible for the clean up of their work area once the contest ends
at 4 p.m. All tools and equipment will be put away at that time, and trash (including welding rod butts) MUST be picked up and disposed of appropriately.
Scoring will be based on the following criteria:
Team Work, Efficiency, Safety, Fabrication and Fit Up, Weld Quality and placement accuracy, Total project quality and accuracy to blueprint
All rules and procedures will be subject to change or alteration as contest officials see fit.
