Phil Faires 1994-Present

A 1977 graduate of Trimble, Coach Faires was a member of the first class of Tomcats to be coached all four years by Paul Culver. Coach Faires was a first team All-District selection his senior year. Coach Faires began his coaching career as an assistant under Coach Bolin in 1979.

Greg Holbert 1987-1993

A 1978 graduate of Trimble, a member of the 1977 Bomb Squad, Coach Holbert was the first Trimble receiver to record over 500 yards receiving in a season and over 1,000 career receiving yards. He was 2nd Team All-Ohio his senior year. Coach Holbert played football at Muskingum College.

Barry Litteral 1985-1986

A graduate of Portmouth West High School where he was a standout receiver and safety, Coach Litteral was an assistant coach for Trimble in 1984 before taking over the program in 1985.

Dave Pritchard 1984

A graduate of Nelsonville-York High School, Coach Pritchard had served as an assistant coach under Ed Bolin for four seasons.

Ed Bolin 1979-1983

A graduate of Jacksonville-Trimble High School. Coach Bolin was the last player to score a touchdown for the Cardinals. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Coach Bolin became an assistant coach under Paul Culver in 1975.

Paul Culver 1973-1978

A graduate of Hopewell High School and after playing at West Liberty State, Coach Culver came to Trimble in 1973 after a one year stint coaching the Cadiz High School Freshman team. Coach Culver revamped the Trimble program into the established tradition that it is today.

Joe Bokovitch 1966-1972

Joe Bokovitch a 1955 graduate of Glenville State where he played football, came to Glouster after a successful head coaching stint at Ravenswood WV. As an assistant coach there he was part of two state championship teams. When Coach Bokovitch arrived, Glouster was an independent but would soon join the Mid Ohio Valley Conference for three seasons from 1968-1970.

Terry Tignor 1965

Terry Tignor was a graduate of Nelsonville High School and Ohio University. He came to Glouster after being an undefeated junior high coach at Millersport School District. The 1965 season was the first year Glouster played as an independent.

Virgil Grandy 1964

Virgil Grandy had served as an assistant coach in the Glouster program, but previous Coach Tom Cremeans' late resignation (just 11 days before the first game) propelled Coach Grandy into the position. A successful basketball coach, Coach Grandy would serve as head football coach for only the 1964 season, the final year Glouster was in the Muskingum Valley League
