Raid: Shadow Legends is absolute trash and we're not afraid to say it

Forget everything you know regarding mobile games," is the repeated slogan that's been repeated in too many YouTube sponsored videos.

Plarium Games has created this cult-like chant to try and convince people that they can fundamentally alter reality by repeating hollowed words. Let's face the facts: Raid: Shadow Legends cannot be mistaken as any type of mobile gaming fun. Raid: Shadow Legends represents everything wrong in the mobile gaming market. We are proud to proclaim it loudly.

What is Raid: Shadow Legends?

Raid Shadow Legends, a freemium RPG that uses turn-based turns to create characters, is at its core. The single-player mode has a predictable and mediocre story. While the game's artistic presentation is quite good for a mobile game that is, it doesn't deserve any praise.

From here, it's all downhill.

The First Hit is Free

The illusion of choice can be confusing when you first start the game. Game Modes offer Campaign, Dungeons and Faction Wars as well as other options, though each one is extremely shallow. Many YouTube sponsors claim that the game is ambitious and comparable to the most difficult PC games. However, the majority of the game can be set up to autoplay or set to double speed. This allows the player to avoid the tedious, repetitive task of Raid: Shadow Legends.

It's not the first, and it's not the last

Raid: Shadow Legends is easy to dismiss because of their greed and widespread sponsorship of YouTube content creators. But they don't do anything unique with their predatory model for monetization or their game. Marvel Strike Force is most similar to Raid: Shadow Legends' monetization model.

Players are also forced to spend huge sums of money on every screen in order to upgrade their Captain America or gear up their Yondu. These actions have real benefits for both the Arena game mode as well as cooperative end-game raids. There is a semblance to an end game in Raid: Shadow Legends. However, they are both trying to take as much money from their users as possible.
