Character Creation

You've read the lore . . . Now what?

If you haven't done so already, this is the time to pick up your roles from the server and begin writing up a RP sample to gain access to the rest of Tilia! Once you have done that, you are able to post your first bio.

Here are a few things to keep in mind . . .

You are free to use any one of the species highlighted in the Besitary. If you would like to include a race to the world, let us know!
Your bio should be very objective. This means that it shouldn't read like a biography that your character wrote about themselves, but rather a list of attributes and things that other players should know about them. The most important things to add are their Name, Age, Appearance, Personality, Occupation, Background Information, Abilities. If your character's abilities are deemed too strong, you may be required to add a Weaknesses section as well, or your abilities might have to be changed.
Tiers must be included in your bio if you have a mage, psion, or flow user, and their abilities section should be very straight forward, letting us know what they are capable of.
If you don't have a picture for your character, please write a more detailed Appearance section.

Restrictions and Limitations

If you have the Adventurers role . . .

Your Mage characters cannot exceed the tier of Master Mage and can only have up to 3 moderate to strong abilities.
Your Flow-using characters cannot exceed the Flow Mastery Stage.
The highest tier your Psion characters can reach outside the Psionic Society is Novice. The highest tier your Psion characters can reach while being members of the Society is Elite.
As a new member, your characters can have no more than one steed and familiar/pet (as long as that pet is able to affect their abilities in any way)

These restrictions have been put in place in order to avoid godmodding and new players changing the laws of the world with overly-strong characters. Once you have had a few RPs with multiple sessions and the staff team has gotten to know you, you will be able to gain stronger and more influential characters.

These next restrictions apply to all members:

In order to stay true to the theme of the server, all characters must be from this planet, time period and dimension (save for characters related to the Underworld/Hell). Time travel is not allowed and for all the characters in Tilia know, there is no world outside of it. Aliens, robots, and characters of that sort are strictly prohibited. The same goes for items that characters may find or possess. Any machinery or weapons that do not fit the time period are not allowed.
Bios must not exceed 5 pages in length. If you feel like your bio needs to be longer for a specific characters, make sure you speak to the staff team before making them.
All bios must be approved before you can begin roleplaying.
