Things To Know. . .
Capital City: Andving
Ruler: Dilya an Niellen
Main Religion: Unknown
Flavien is one of the most mysterious, unwelcoming regions of Tilia. It is one of the first established kingdoms that has been ruled by elves from its very beginning. It was also the first to break apart from the rest of the kingdoms, seeking individuality.
After being rejected by humans, the elves retreated into the forests of Flavien, a region that had been undiscovered by men, and created their own civilization. Still, the nature of elves was what stopped them from thriving, and with no human contact, the region remained rather undeveloped, even the most modern buildings resembling old, dated architecture.
Nowadays, Flavien is covered in the ruins of the grand region it used to be, and only a few cities somewhat resemble their old selves. One of these cities is the capital, Andving, which lies in the heart of Flavien, hidden away from any threat. There, the elves have created a city among trees as large as castles, using the old ruins as greenhouses, and focusing on expanding the city upwards through centuries’ worth of labour.
Despite all of Flavien’s misfortunes, it is, to this day, the capital of magic in all of Tilia. It is rare for humans to not be kicked out of the kingdom as soon as they are discovered, yet some mages have proven themselves worthy of respect in the past, and have been allowed to attend courses in the elven academies of magic, where magical knowledge beyond that of human is taught.
