Hello Thursday Families!

We had an exciting class assembling, decorating, and launching rockets today! This activity brought us outdoors, (for the launching portion), and we were so lucky to have a break from the rain!

After being introduced to and learning about Chemical Engineers and what they do, we dove into the day's activity: Rocket Launchers. We learned about what happens when baking soda and vinegar mixes when placed in an airtight container and still has room to create fumes/gas pressure!

We had quite a bit success with our launching, and it was a bit difficult to capture our rockets in photos, but check them out below!
