The 'Old Language' is a colloquial term for words of the old world and are roots for common words and terms. Below is a list of old language words and their closest modern meanings, and where they have originated from. These words can still be used in contemporary settings but not everyone might know what these words mean...

• Din = Feast/Food (Ofslandic)

• Grim = Fish (Ofslandic)

• Kell = Impurity/Land of Impurity (Ofslandic)

• Kevstalven = Purity/Pure Land (Ofslandic)

• King = Ruler/Leader (Ofslandic)

• Kingstahl = Ruler of the Desert (Ofslandic)

• Lines (lin-es) = negative connotation, often flipping a word or phrase to mean the opposite (Ofslandic)

• Lines (lin-es) stahl did = Less than Roots (Ofslandic)

• Mage = Advisor/Sorcerer (Tarneiian)

• Magus = Magic/Sorcery (Tarneiian)

• Moa = Life (Moaic), and Pride (Ofslandic)

• Mortre = Fertiliser/Feces (Ofslandic) (can also be used more modernly to mean "Shit")

• Naut = Metal (Nautic)

• Nis = Lesser (derogative)/Stupid/False (Tarneiian)

• Of = To Follow (Ofslandic)

• Sao = People (Moaic)

• Slander/Sland = The Great (Ofslandic)

• Sin = Truth/Balance (Tarneiian)

• Stahl = Desert/Hardship (Ofslandic)

• Stahldin = Great Feast (Ofslandic)

• Tis = Cactus/Prickly (derogatory)/Sharp (Ofslandic)

• Toi = Home (Tarneiian)

• Weed = Undesirable plants (Ofslandic)
