Quest: Verglas Bandits Part 2
Available to: Members of the Guild
Description: Guild Member Dorothy has found a lead: a Super named "Haer" that is rumoured to have taken part in a raid. Haer is known to be of Moaic origin but went to great lengths to prevent being processed and registered as a Super, and was slated to be kept in the South Building until he was properly processed...but that clearly never happened. If the Guild can find a trace of Haer, they may be able to track him and uncover his involvement with the Verglas Bandits.
The bandits have struck again, and have raided a well-stocked police garrison in Deshra.
Requirement: Write at least 2 sentences of your character getting involved in the investigation. They may pursue any of the following leads to uncover more information about the bandits or Haer specifically:
Footwork: this involves questioning authorities personally and investigating scenes of the crimes to try to uncover identities and superpowers.
Digital footprints: this involves searching the internet for Verglas related discussions, including supporters and hints of using online chat rooms to organise their activities, or even theories from casual online-goers for the Verglas Bandit's motivations.
Globe-stepping: this involves investigating places that have been hit, possible identity symbols for the members and where they are located/where their base of operations may be.
Be sure to specify what your character is doing in your submission! You may look for more general leads OR look for Haer specifically.
Other notes: Upon completion of the quest, a d5 will be rolled with the following outcomes:
On a 5, your character will find a lead
Part 3 of this Quest will be influenced by what leads are found. God's Pity may be used in the above roll. Please indicate if you'd like to use a Pity in your quest submission!

Available to: Members of the Order
Description: Head of Inquiry, Malakai Luma has gone missing. He has not been spotted in the Sanctuary for two days and no one can seem to contact him. Find him!
Requirement: Write at least 2 sentences of your character attempting to look for Malakai! For this submission, your character must at least team up with 1 or more characters to investigate any one of the following points:
Investigate Malakai's master room. Shadow has given permission to sorcerers to prod Malakai's room..."Just don't take anything or destroy anything. I will hold anyone that does so completely liable" - Shadow.
Talk with Rohan. It's little secret Malakai has been running his own investigation into something, but only Rohan might know what as the two were seen chatting just before Malakai disappeared. You may have to convince Rohan to give up what he knows with a DC18 Persuasion check. Or you might make him ramble about strange magical theories and conjecture instead. Attempting to use spells on Rohan may result in punishment. (You may use a Pity for the Persuasion check!)
Investigate Malakai's latest mission. It's a little more of a secret of what Malakai has been investigating but no one knows where he's gone...maybe investigating his room or asking Rohan might give you a lead.
Other notes: This quest requires characters to investigate in tiers and the quest description will update as information is uncovered.
Each group investigating a point will find a bit of information towards Malakai's disappearance, and the penultimate investigation into Malakai's last known location and situation will yield an RP :). It is recommended that players submit their quests a few at a time so the next players can build off what they find.
A part 2 may be necessary if Malakai is not found by the end of July!
Reward: 50 UP OR a Tier in Tracking, Magical History or Persuasion AND Order rep loss if using spells/similar on Rohan.
Special reward: Yes
