The 992 is a very comfortable shoe in its own way. It has a great combination of both stability and comfort. However, if you are looking for a more soft, plush feeling shoe, then the 992 is NOT for you. The 992 is a little bit chunky and you may feel a little bit elevated off the ground.
The 992 utilizes New Balance's proprietary Abzorb and Abzorb SBS technologies, which is a gel/foam combo cushioning technology designed to give the user a great combination of both stability and cushioning.
