Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group (AOIMSG)
The Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group (AOIMSG) has the goal of detecting, identifying and attributing objects of interests in Special Use Airspace (SUA), and to assess and mitigate any associated threats to safety of flight and national security. AOIMSG is the fourth program of such a nature to be established by the United States government after the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program and its subsequent successor of the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force. It is one of 2 branching successors to the UAPTF, the other being the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office.
