Kathmandu, August 24
Dias panel is having a tough time managing the delegates in LP 2 on August 24, as the delegates jumble around shouting and screaming during the moderated caucus.
"There are several problems we are facing right now in the committee.” moderator Pratyush Maharjan exclaimed, with frustration. “Delegates do not cooperate at all. We have been asking them to remain seated, " he added. The delegates are hustling with full spirit. The vice chair of the committee, Dipankar Nepal highlighted that setting the resolution had been the major problem as it required 2/3 of the delegates' votes.
“It seems the delegates have divided themselves into two teams containing 15 people in each”, Vice-Chair Dipankar Nepal expressed. “Setting the resolution has turned out to be quite a challenge at the moment in LP-2.”
"The delegates are creating a havoc and the committee is in chaos," the incharge of the committee, Bipin Koirala said. Furthermore the deputy incharge of the committee, Hari Kumari Thapa, highlighted that unmoderated coccus “really needs to be planned next time."
The committee today was hyper active. Delegates were full of energy and spirit. They were responsive, active and absorbing. The Dais panel expressed that they hope to see the same the next day as well.
