Committee started with simultaneous question

The committee started with a GSL which led to numerous questions back to back from the side of the delegates against Palestine (Jeshika Kumal)with the major participants being Germany (Surnav Tamsal), the United Kingdom (ShreyaKadayal), the United States (Peter Rajiv), Israel (Binamra Poude), and others. The delegate of Palestine went through a lot of pressure but despite being left all alone and having her allies turn on her, the delegate managed to answer most of the questions.
The first to question was the delegate of the United States who had done much research and preparation. The committee was against the United States and was gradually persuaded to go against Russia (Sulina Gurung), but after the Palestinian delegate (Jeshika Kumal) decided to rescue the delegate of Russia, the committee switched to go against Palestine. This decision, however, appeared to be a major error because there were never-ending and continuous questions henceforth.
“Let the past be left in the past, let's work on how we could uplift and amend our common future,” stated the vice chair of the committee(Aryan Thapa) who was pleased with how well the committee was working and who wished it continued in the same way.
Following the GSL delivered by the representative of the United States, a new arena of debate was opened up, with the representatives of Palestine, Germany, Israel, and South Africa being particularly active and motivating. Other delegates began to follow up as a result of their leadership, which made the committee function even more efficiently. Even after the delegate from the USA finished speaking, the GSL continued for another 30 minutes and with the requirement of additional time , which was added by the delegate of South Africa. The DISEC chair (Ayush Dhakal) had to shut down the GSL of USA since it was never-ending and the questions kept coming up.
“The delegates seemed to have realized the importance of MUN,” stated the chair of the DISEC committee as in comparison to the practice sessions, the delegates appeared to be more engaged and had done more study.
The DISEC committee saw an outburst of back and forth questions today and in conclusion the delegates seemed to have gotten a good grasp of the basic and essential procedures of the TESMUN. The chairs seemed pretty satisfied as well.
