TESMUN-2022 starts with a bang

The 10th session of TES MUN started with the grand opening ceremony with hosts, Shreya Tiwari and Grishma Thapa on TES auditorium hall on September 6, 2022.
The ceremony started with a beautiful Sanskrit poem delivered beautifully by Shreya and Grishma. The MCs then requested everyone to take their respective seats and the program officially began.
“For the coming three days, we are going to debate and discuss national and international issues to educate ourselves,” said Shreya, the MC, “to inform ourselves.”
Next, the MCs invited chairperson and Secretary general for TESMUN 2022, Mr. Manaswi Pant for a speech. The Secretary general presented a well written and well presented speech about the history of the UN and MUN.
“The solutions come by cooperation,” the Secretary general stated during his speech, “cooperation comes by coordination and cooperation depends upon you.”
After the speech students of grade 7-9 presented the MUN song composed by the head of Nepali department and the Logistics coordinator, composed by Jeetendra Basnet, Nepali instructional supervisor. Next to this peaceful song was the speech of principal, Mr. Prasant Rajak.
“The value of the 1000 rupee note didn’t decrease by a slight bit even when I crumbled it and stepped on it I have high hopes from all of you.” said Mr. Prashant sir as he told a short inspirational story in his speech, “You have my best wishes for the TESMUN final session. I wish you all nothing but the best. Thank you!”
After an inspirational speech of the principal, the IT head of TESMUN-2022, Mr. Shrijan KC gave the audience a brief presentation on how the Press and IT team works and how websites are.
“The IT team and press team have a systematic way of working together,”, said Shrijan, “most of the reporters, photographers, cartoonist, and videographers make the content which is edited by the editors,”
After the presentation Principal handed and distributed badges to the dias members, secretary general, Logistic heads, IT head, Press Heads and deputies.
“Now, we have come to the end of the ceremony,” said Grishma, one of the MCs, “so to proceed forward we would like to invite the Managing Director of the school Mr.Ram Basent to distribute the gavel to all the Chairs of each committee.”
After the gavel was distributed to the chairs, the delegates were sent to their respective committee halls.
This MUN was grander than the previous sessions as things were going physically as well as digitally. This year, the publication was fully digitalized which was a key point.
