Arizona requires drivers to have car insurance that meets or exceeds the following minimum car insurance coverage levels:
Bodily injury liability coverage: Minimum $25,000 per person / $50,000 per accident
Property damage liability coverage: Minimum $15,000
Uninsured motorist bodily injury coverage: Minimum $25,000 per person / $50,000 per accident
Underinsured motorist bodily injury coverage: Minimum $25,000 per person / $50,000 per accident
Note: Uninsured and underinsured coverages can be rejected by speaking to a licensed agent
If you have an Arizona car insurance policy with a comprehensive deductible, you may be eligible for a benefit called the safety glass non-deductible option. By selecting this option, repairing or replacing safety glass on your covered vehicle does not require you to pay a deductible. This applies to the windshield, windows, and some other glass materials within the vehicle.
Arizona drivers could save up to 10% on applicable coverages by completing an approved defensive driving course.
The easiest way to take advantage of this discount is through an online defensive driving course offered by either Defensive Driving by IMPROV or the National Safety Council.
Discount Eligibility
Eligibility for the Defensive Driver discount may vary based upon a few factors.* The below eligibility criteria may be considered in your state:
You must be at least 50 years of age
You have completed the course on a voluntary basis (not as a result of an order of a court or other governmental entity)
