We warmly welcome you to Taradale Primary School.
We’re Chris and Jess, and we’re proud to lead the school together. Chris has been part of Taradale for over fifteen years, and Jess has been teaching and leading here over the past 5–6 years. Between us, we know the school and community well and care deeply about what makes it such a special place.
Taradale Primary School has been part of the community since 1855. In recent years, the school has grown from a single class of five students in 2015 to four classes today, as more families find their way to us.
We aim to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel safe, known and ready to learn. We value strong relationships, high expectations and a learning program that is both purposeful and engaging.
Our school is inclusive and child safe. We welcome and support all students, and work to ensure everyone feels respected and part of the community.
Our spaces reflect how we learn. Inside, we have well-equipped classrooms, a library and a shared multi-purpose space. Outside, our grounds include the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden, playgrounds, an oval and a range of natural areas that we use for outdoor learning and investigations.
We’re proud of the connections we have with our community and the way families are part of school life.
You’re always welcome to visit. Please get in touch if you’d like to come and see the school in action.
We look forward to getting to know you and your family.
