SUMMER CAMP 2024
Theme: “Delving into the Realms of STEAM and ICT in Embarking an Immersive Experiences Filled with Innovation, Creativity, and Digital Wonders”
Terrarium Making Contest
Objective:
This contest aims to develop the creativity of the pupils in designing their own miniature ecosystem. In addition, this will also make the pupils reflect on the importance of maintaining a sustainable environment and that all living and nonliving things are part of our day to day lives.
Target Participants:
Grades 4-6 pupils
Maximum of two contestants only at each grade level.
Rules and Regulations:
The names of the contestants should be submitted to the designated personnel on or before February 12, 2024.
The contestants are expected to bring their own materials to be used in creating their terrarium.
The terrarium’s size must not exceed with the following measurements;
length: 10 inches
width: 5 inches
height: 10 inches.
The participants are given 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish their terrarium.
Only the participants, judges, teachers in-charge, and students-in charge are allowed to enter the venue.
The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.
Criteria For Judging
Creativity - 40%
Abiotic and Biotic features - 30%
Organization - 20%
Visual Appeal - 10%
TOTAL - 100%
