SUMMER CAMP 2024

Theme: “Delving into the Realms of STEAM and ICT in Embarking an Immersive Experiences Filled with Innovation, Creativity, and Digital Wonders”

Baking Tutorial

Objective: 

            This is an event that encourages excellence in students, allowing them to showcase their talent in the kitchen and helps students promote creativity, enhance cooking skills, build confidence and self-discipline, and even learn humility. This will be an excellent opportunity for students to present their culinary works to the CILS community.

Target Participants:

• Grades 1-6 pupils

• 20-25 students

Rules and Regulations:

1. The scheduled date for this Cooking/Baking activity is on the second day (March 2, 2024, Saturday) of Summer Camp.

2. This event will take place from 8:00 am-11:00 am. The slots for this event are only limited. Secure your tickets from your adviser.

3. This will be a tutorial, not a contest. The facilitators will guide you on how to bake cookies.

4. Each participant must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, hairnets, and aprons.

5. The organizers will provide all the ingredients, tools, and equipment.

6. Only the participants, teachers in-charge, and students-in charge are allowed to enter the venue. 

7. Practice CLAYGO or Clean as you go afterward.

What will we be making?

Cookies! What better snack to make than cookies? A cookie is a tiny pastry typically produced using flour, sugar, milk, and fat. It can either be crispy or cake-like; it is a baked, cooked, or sweet treat.
