SUMMER CAMP 2024

Theme: “Delving into the Realms of STEAM and ICT in Embarking an Immersive Experiences Filled with Innovation, Creativity, and Digital Wonders”

STEAM and ICT Night of Talents (Battle of the Bands)

Objectives:
          This competition aims to promote live music through a live band performance making the event joyous and more exciting. It will also provide a platform for talented Conpereynians to showcase their skills and recognize their work. Furthermore, it will foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants, regardless of musical genre or skill level. This event will embark on a fun and memorable experience for all participants and attendees.

Rules and Regulations 

1. The band must have their original name. 

2. The band must have 3-8 members. A band member can be a part of only one band. Members may come from different grade levels.

3. Band members must observe proper dress code (free from obscenities). 

4. Prepare 3-4 songs of any genre but should be free from vulgar or foul language and racist remarks. Bands can play the same songs.

5. Each band is required to submit their band name and members on February 5, 2024.

6. The band is required to be present at least 30 minutes before their performance. If the band or band member is not yet present 15 minutes prior to the time, they will be disqualified. 

7. Each band will be given 8 minutes to set-up their instruments. One point will be deducted to their total score for every minute excess. 

8. Band members must bring their own personal instruments and/or special effects. Gadgets or devices with applications as instruments are allowed as long as a headphone jack can be used as a connector to the speaker.

9. The band members will be accountable for any damage of the event’s equipment and the financial cost thereof. 

10. Band members are responsible for the security of their equipment and the event organizer cannot be held liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen equipment. 

11.  If the band incites any sort of violence in the group, to the organizers, staff, judges and audience, the band will be immediately disqualified and/or the performance will be stopped. 

12. Minimum of three (3) bands must join the competition or else it will be dissolved.

Originality - 35%

Musicality & Musicianship - 25%

Stage Presence - 25%

Crowd Reaction - 15%

TOTAL - 100%
