 Letter from the President:

Hello Friends!

It's hard to believe that summer is almost over! I'd like to thank everyone that came out to volunteer at the Fishing Rodeo and Community Baby Shower!! We signed up over 20 kids for Imagination Library at the baby shower. If you missed these events and are interested in volunteering, we are still looking for volunteers for the Summer Finale and Book Bus.

We need volunteers for the Library's big SUMMER FINALE on July 18 at 11:00 a.m. The community loves this event as it closes out the summer for them. Please plan on arriving 30-45 minutes early to help with setup.

Also, if you are interested in meeting up with the Book Bus in Cumberland City at the tennis courts from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. and in Indian Mound at the Indian Mound Community Church from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. on July 19th.

Please reach out if you can volunteer for any of these events!

Our Salad Luncheon will look a little different this year. It will be on August 22 at the Visitor's Center. Please plan to attend the July 14th meeting as we plan this event. It's also our annual Friends' Cookout! Please bring a side dish and your own beverage of choice.

We will have a special Salad Luncheon Meeting on Monday August 4th at 5:00 p.m. to finalize last minute details. Please plan on attending. Your input is valued!

We are blessed beyond belief to have such a wonderful library filled with a wonderful library staff that genuinely cares about our community! Next time you're near the library, stop in and ask about all of our community programs. We would love to have you join us!
