A Highschool Project constructed in two days
By filling a container with calculated weights, a lever system would trigger a marble to be released at chosen times.
Water flowing at a constant regulated rate fills a container on one side of a lever to a point where the torque on both sides of the lever are equal in magnitude. At this point, a mechanism is triggered to release a marble.
An empirical analysis allowed for a function of marble release time vs counterbalance weight to be produced through least squares fitting of a polynomial function.
