A 3 channel Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) filter was designed and fabricated using
Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) technology.

The designed device takes one input from a fiber optic cable, subtracts integer multiples of three frequencies then outputs signals at these extracted frequencies on
gratings 2 - 4. Grating 1 outputs the input minus the extracted frequencies.

An apparatus capable of measuring my designed devices had thankfully already been constructed by the researchers at UBC.
The theoretical and idealized outcomes expected at the output gratings.
The actual outcomes at the output gratings were in alignment with expectations. The downward slope is due to the frequency response of the grating fiber couplers.
