Involve stakeholders and develop an open practice
Keep a diverse range of people involved in your project in the right way: enhance participation, organise decision-making in a participatory way and maintain it during the delivery phase of projects. Sell the plan and gain buy-in. Understand the different relationships that exist between different stakeholders and the different roles they play. Identify how partnerships need to change and adapt them to be ready for implementation. Manage conflicts between different individuals and groups. Reconcile different objectives of different parties. Compromise. Find mutual benefits - the win-win, and define levels of involvement - decision maker, advisory input etc.
