On 29th December 2024, The library and premises of SSMM College library were recently spruced up as part of a special cleaning initiative under "Vachan Sankalpa Maharashtracha". Staff and students collaborated in this cleanliness drive, ensuring the library's resources and environment remained welcoming and conducive to learning. Organized by the college library, the activity aimed to foster a sense of responsibility and maintain hygienic surroundings. The event was widely appreciated, promoting awareness about the importance of cleanliness in educational institutions. for this driver staff and students were presnt.

SSMM College Library successfully organized a two-day book exhibition on December 30th and 31st as a special drive under "Vachan Sanklapa Maharashtacha" The event showcased a rich collection of books spanning various genres, including academics, literature, self-help, and regional history. The exhibition aimed to encourage a love for reading among students and faculty while providing easy access to diverse knowledge resources.

Visitors appreciated the well-curated selection and the opportunity to explore rare and informative books. The exhibition concluded with positive feedback, highlighting the library's commitment to fostering a vibrant academic and cultural atmosphere.

On 2nd January 2025, The Department of Library organized a Workshop on Reading Skill Improvement on the occasion of Vachan Sankalpa Maharashtracha. Prof. Dr. W. S. Wale, the esteemed guest speaker, shared valuable insights on enhancing reading habits and techniques. The program was chaired by Dr. Sharad Patil, who emphasized the significance of reading in personal and cultural growth. The workshop received an enthusiastic response, motivating participants to commit to regular reading and lifelong learning. 

On 3rd January 2024, The Department of Library organized an engaging Reader-Writer Interaction Program on the occasion of Vachan Sankalpa Maharashtracha. Shri P. K. Sutar, a renowned writer, graced the event as the guest speaker, sharing his experiences and inspiring the audience with insights into the world of writing. The program was chaired by Prof. Dr. J. V. Patil, who highlighted the importance of fostering connections between readers and writers.

The event was enriched by the presence of former Principal Prof. Dr. B. N. Patil and Vice Principal Prof. Dr. W. S. Wale, who praised the initiative and encouraged participants to deepen their engagement with literature. The program saw active participation and left attendees inspired to explore the transformative power of reading and writing.

On 26.01.2025, The certificate distribution ceremony for the Book Review & Narration Competition took place on January 26, 2025. The event was graced by the presence of Hon. President of P.T.C.Edu., Dilip Onkar Wagh, who praised the participants for their insightful reviews and engaging narrations. Students showcased their literary and analytical skills through this competition, which encouraged critical thinking and effective communication. Winners and participants were awarded certificates as a token of recognition for their efforts and enthusiasm. First Winner was Ku.Neha Kumavat, Sencond winner was Ku.Tejaswnini Neve & Thired Ku.Gayatri Kshirsagar.
