This committee shall have general jurisdiction over the cleanliness and beautification of the city; promotion of the city as a tourist destination; tourism facilities; such as hotels, inns, beach houses and cottages; accommodation at tourist destinations; maintenance of tourist attractions; public activities during fiestas, Christmas time and charter day celebrations; and other matters related to tourism.
