Committee on Rules, Laws, Ordinances, Legal Matters and Privileges

The Committee on Rules shall have the general jurisdiction over all matters pertaining to:

1. The rules and procure over and Order of Business of the Sangguniang;

2. The creation and re-organization of the committees;

3. Codification of Ordinances, resolutions;

4. The accreditation of NGO and PO and other groups or sectors seeking accreditation;

5. The legality or validity of measures or proposals as well as all matters relating to the legal aspects of the action taken by or submitted to the sanggunian;

6. Appointment extend by the city mayor pursuant to RA 7160;

7. Enforcement of the CSC law and regulations;

8. Implementation of national laws and enforcement of local ordinances, and;

9. Committees and thier respective jurisdictions.
