Answer: The Democratic Republic of the Congo lies in Central Africa. It is surrounded by nine countries. They are Central African Republic, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, Angola and Republic of Congo.
Question 2: List the minerals found in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Answer: The minerals found in the DRC are gold, cobalt, copper, cadmium, petroleum, silver, diamond, zinc, manganese, tin, uranium, iron ore, bauxite and coal.

Answer: The Bantu follow traditional lifestyles. They enjoy music and dance, and wear colorful dresses on special occasions.

Answer: The DRC has a poor transport system. The dense forests of the Country have made it difficult to built railways and roads. The country has a network of rivers. Thus, water transport has become the chief means of travel. Air transport is a very effective way to travel in this country. There are more than 200 airports in the country.
Question 5: Write the names of a few cities of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Answer: Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Kangana, Kisangani, Likasi, Kikwit and Matadi are some cities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
