Answer 1: We choose a particular vehicle to travel depending on the

1. Location of the place.

2. Distance to be covered.

3. Time available.

4. Money we can spend.

Question 2: Which animals are used as a means of transport?

Answer 2: Animals such as camels, bullocks, elephants, donkeys, mules and ponies are used as means of transport.

Question 3: Write three road safety rules.

Answer 3: The road safety rules are:

1. Always walk on the footpath. If there is no footpath, walk on the safe side of the road.

2. Never go alone on the road. Always go with an elder.

3. Before crossing the road, look to your right, the. To your left and then right again. Cross only when you see no vehicle coming from either side.

4. Never play or ride your bicycle on the road.

5. Use an over bridge or subway to go to the other side of the road. If there are none, use the zebra crossing. Crossing road oy when the traffic stops.

6. Never try to cross the level crossing when the gates are closed.
