SNEA Members receive points for attendance, donations, and individual achievements for the chance to win a $250 scholarship.
An Active Member of Good Standing:
attends a minimum of 2 General Meetings
earns a minimum of 30 points per semester
If you haven't met the minimum requirements to be an active members, don't worry! There is always "Point Forgiveness" at the end of each semester. Donate food, school supplies, books, toys, or hygiene items (1 point/donations) to meet the # of points you're missing.
SNEA points are used as an incentive for members to participate in events. The top three compete for a scholarship and all members who earn 50+ points receive a prize for their future classroom.
Members must meet at minimum of 20 points to receive graduation cords. Preference for conference slots will also be given based on member attendance.

The top three point earners write an essay to compete for $250. The winner will be announced after the holidays.
We wouldn't be an active club without the support of our members. Look at how many points our top 9 collected this semester!
SNEA is ALWAYS collecting donations
Drop off Donations in ED 315 (the building with Einstein Bagels next to the transit center). Don't forget to put your name, # of items, and 'SNEA' on the bag!
1 point/donation (or depending on price of toy/clothing)
We will be collecting donations during all meetings as well.
