• Target Word Cards: The child creates cards for 3–5 target words while repeating them after the clinician.

• Target Practice Through Experiential Play: In fun activities, the child practices target words with clinician support, achieving 100% accuracy. Emerging patterns are monitored during conversation.

• Stimulability Probes: The clinician assesses potential next-session targets and selects the most stimulable one.

• Auditory Bombardment (Repeat): Step 2 is repeated to reinforce the target.

• A more recent study by Rudolph and Wendt (2014)  examined the efficacy of the unmodified Cycles approach through a multiple baseline design, finding statistically and clinically significant improvements for children with moderate-severe speech sound disorders.
