Secretary of Foreign Affairs

The Secretary of Foreign Affairs is, obviously, responsible for diplomacy and foreign relations. They are perform their duties under the direct order from the President and a responsible for the Department of Foreign Affairs (DoFA).

Article 6: Secretary of Foreign Affairs

§1. The Secretary of Foreign Affairs shall oversee the Department of Foreign Affairs.

§2. The Secretary of Foreign Affairs shall be directly under command of the President.

§3. The Secretary of Foreign Affairs shall be responsible for conducting and managing the SimDemocracy foreign relationships as well as conduct all diplomacy between SimDemocracy and foreign states or entities.

§4. SimDemocracy ambassadors shall deliver weekly reports directly to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs.

§5. There shall be a Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs, whose duty is to uphold the office of Secretary of Foreign Affairs if the Secretary of Foreign Affairs is unable to conduct their duties.

§5.1. The Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs is appointed or removed through the same process as the primary Secretary of Foreign Affairs and shall be subject to the same restrictions.

§5.2. The Secretary of Foreign Affairs shall share all data regarding their work with the Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs.
