Thinking about what happens beyond secondary education can present lots of questions and fact-finding missions especially for students who are in year 11. All the options can be thought of as being part of a journey and with the correct information, advice and guidance students can make well informed decisions which are most suitable for them as individuals. Students can become empowered to begin to identify the links between the Post 16 pathway they choose and the possibilities within Higher Education. Aspirational thinking will certainly develop once students can confidently navigate their way through all of the information and make sense of the language and terminology they need to understand.
