In homeroom, we learned basic information about media. We also learned about different kinds and the usage of media. We were given time to work on our PYPX. Mr. James gave us a lot of time for us to work on our PYPX, such as giving us the whole day for us to work on our blog and other things. I think homeroom was really helpful to prepare our PYPX!
In music class, we worked on our final PYPX performance of the song Dreamers. It was challenging, but also entertaining and fun. The whole grade 5 students contributed well. They all played different kinds of musical instruments. Some people also worked on different songs, for their individual performances.
In Dance class, we did a dance which relates to media. We had to create a 1 minute dance and represent different kinds of media. Once we did that, we also worked on the Dreamers dance for the final performance.
In Art class, we created the invitation poster for the PYPX. It was made in Canva, and we tried our best to make it look eye catchy and attractive. Ms. Irma and Ms. Wienda also gave suggestions for us to make the invitation poster better.
We talked about our favorite types of media. We talked about the side effects of that type of media, how we can prevent being addicted to it, how social media have a negative and positive effect in Indonesian. We also made a mind map about how ancient people communicated without media.
In Chinese class we learnt Chinese words that relates to media. We talked more about media, what it looks like, and how do they work. We also made a mind map about different sources of media, such as newpaper, broadcast and more.
