Week 15

Reflections

Riyom

This week, we made tons of progress. We did 2 interviews with Dr. Lidya and Dr. Wendy, and we are going to go to Aaron's house on Saturday. Another thing we did was that Betty and Maya presented to grade 2, and Fadil, Aaron, and I presented to grade 7. On Thursday, we interviewed Dr. Lidya and we went to her clinic at the Smart Mind Center. It felt really good interviewing her because she was giving us a lot of information that we did not know before. Our next interview was with Dr. Wendy, but this time it was online. Our teacher mentors helped us book this interview and they also helped us set up a Microsoft Teams meeting for the interview. The interview with Dr. Wendy went great too and it was also pretty informative. Fadil, Aaron, and I presented to grade 7 and we had a good time presenting to them as the grade 7 students were listening attentively. In conclusion, week 15 was a great week and we made a lot of progress.

Maya

This week was nice. We focused on working on our blog, posters for PYPX, presentations, and interviews. We had an interview with Dr. Lidya and it was fun! Me and Fadil were in Riyom's car and we did random stuff. Betty and I presented to Grade 2. I think grade 2 had a lot of fun and understood about social media addiction. In the quiz, a lot of them answered! It is probably because Betty and I said: "You will win a prize if you answer correctly." Riyom, Fadil, and Aaron presented to grade 7. I think they did a pretty good job! Betty and I worked on posters for our panel. Riyom agreed with most of them but we just have to edit it more. I missed an interview with Dr. Wendy because I had acting practice for the PYPX opener. Riyom had acting practice for PYPX but Mr. James said that Riyom can join the interview. All though I missed the interview, I had a lot of fun practicing for the PYPX opener. I went to Aaron's house and we made more marshmallow pops. I also swim with Riyom, Fadil, and Aaron. We are almost done with our blog! We just need to finish and edit some things. I am excited but nervous about PYPX. PYPX is coming super fast!

Betty

This week was great and we made a lot of progress. I think it is because we completed some challenges last week. This week, we focused on our presentation, posters, and our interviews. First, I and Maya went to grade 2 to do a presentation about social media. I think they understood what is social media addiction and they enjoyed it! Next, Faidl, Aaron, and Riyom went to grade 7 and did a presentation too. Me and Maya couldn't go there to see it, but I am sure they did a great job! Then, we worked on our poster for our booth. Maya and I had a lot of great ideas, which everyone agreed on. My groupmates gave a bunch of positive feedback, also a recommendations to make it better. Overall, the poster-making was great and it was a time when our teamwork stood out! Lastly, we went to the smart mind center and interviewed Dr. Lidya. She is a physiatrist, who worked for more than 10 years in Smart Mind Center. It was a great time interviewing such an expert, Dr.Lidya! Overall, this week was amazing, but a nervous week, since the final PYPX is coming fast!

Fadil

Another week has passed. This week was fun and we made lots of progress. We have done our interviews and we were very excited to interview them and get new information from them. On Monday, we made some progress on our blog. Then we did our presentations. to grades 1 and 7. I was a part of the grade 7 presentation and it was a fun presentation. We did quizzes and it was a really fun experience. The next thing we needed to do were the interviews. We interviewed Dr. Lidya first. It was a very informative yet very long interview. We got much more information from her but the interview lasted for 37 or more minutes long. The next thing we did was to interview Dr. Wendy. It only took a while but we were able to get more information for our blog and our presentations. Overall this week was amazing. I am looking forward to our PYPX day (May 25).

Aaron

This week was a really fun week. My groupmates went over to make marshmallow pops and more products, We might get tons of profit from this because we sold a ton of marshmallow products. It's really fun to sell and make marshmallow pops. We had done a lot through this week and most or some of the schedules are PYPX prep. We are already preparing because it is coming very soon in a week or so. We presented to grade 7 and we will sell our products to grade 7 and other lower grades. This week was super full of work and we also did our interviews and finished all 3 of them. We quizzed grade 7 and some of them answered right. I really enjoyed the activities this week and what we did and did. I couldn't interview Ms Lidya in the smart mind center unfortunately but I could interview Ms Karin and Ms Wendy. It was a lot of work this week and I look forward to PYPX coming soon next week on the 25th of May.
