Week 9

Reflections

Riyom

Week 9 was amazing. We are now in the next step for the PYPX. Our teacher mentors came this week on Wednesday. Our teacher mentors are Ms. Devi and Ms. Ratuu. We explained them about our group, showed them our planner, showed them our blog, and also explained them about our action plan and the organization we are donating to. They were pretty proud of us because we finished all the things needed to do and we are also prepared for the next week. We also made some progress this week. We finished the 2nd page of our planner and started the 3rd page. Last week, our idea for making DIY fidget spinners didn't work well. We thought of another idea for a product, and that idea is marshmallow pops. To make marshmallow pops, we need to dip a marshmallow in melted chocolate, add sprinkles, and put it on a straw. Then, you can put it in the fridge to enjoy eating it. We are planning to meet at Maya's house on Sunday to make the marshmallow pops. We were about to meet at Aaron's house, but he was sick for a few days in this week, so we are not sure we can meet at his house. In conclusion, this week was really good, and I was really happy that we got the idea of marshmallow pops and the teacher mentors came.

Maya

Week 9 was stunning. We are still making our PYPX planner. This week we finished page 2 and a bit of page 3. We had one plan for making a product to sell. It was marshmallow pops. To make the marshmallow pops we need dark chocolate, sprinkles, marshmallow, and a straw. We are planning to make the marshmallow pops in my house. On Wednesday April 5, our teacher mentors came! It was very exciting. We talked about how we are doing with our blog and planner. We told them about our action plan, LOI, central idea, learning goals, key concepts and more. They were very impressed that we are doing well. We showed them the organization we are going to donate to which is Seribu Tujuan. We still have a lot of things we need to do. That was all for this week, there wasn't any challenging parts. 

Fadil

This week has been amazing! I was able to meet my teacher mentors, and we agreed on a product that will catch the eye of most people. I truly had a fun time and so did my group. It was a beautiful day outside, birds are singing, and the flowers are blooming. I arrived at school, started my normal classes, and had fun learning about the topics. We started our PYPX preparation on Tuesday. We talked about our products and finished our planner. We discussed the price of our marshmallow pops but we decided to figure it out later. Though, we planned to meet at Maya's house to make the marshmallow pops. On Wednesday, we worked more on the planner and discussed more about our topic. Though in the early afternoon, we met our teacher mentors. Our teacher mentors were Ms. Ratuu and Ms. Devi. We talked to them about what we did, how we did it, and what we are doing now. We covered most of the week's agenda for our PYPX. Overall, this week was absolutely fantastic. I was able to cooperate with our teammates and talked a lot to our teacher mentors.

Betty

This week was fantastic. We finished our first and second page of the planner, decided what to sell, and met our teacher mentors! First, our planner was going really well. We discussed our idea together and every members gave a positive feedback to everyone's idea. Overall, finishing the first and the second page of the planner was not challenging. Next, we decided to sell 'marshmallow pops'. It's a really eye-catching thing to make. We can form into various of shapes, which is one of the reason we choose it. I think it is a great idea but, we are thinking of another idea that really stands out too. Lastly, we met our teacher mentors. Our teacher mentors were Ms. Devi and Ms. Ratuu. They were kind and seemed professional. They helped us to make some edits to our planner, blog and our action plan. Overall, this week was full of team work with my groupmates. We had discussed our LOI and action plan a bit more.

Aaron

I was mostly absent this week, I did some stuff during this week and basically we just had to decide what to make. We chose a food product which was 'marshmallow pops.' The idea was discussed and we all said yes, we got to make some s'mores too. We also has to talk about the planner . We added our teacher mentors and they helped with editing our planner and action plan. I think a lot happened when I was gone this week. I think it was an amazing job and I think marshmallow pops were a really great idea because of how easy it is to make and produce. I also like the s'mores because they are also very easy to make and produce. We had done several things during this week and it was a ton of work for all of us.
