Presto has also gathered power, while balancing on a suspended cage in the middle of the gallery, hoping to rescue the elf prisoner. Six chanting disciples continue their spell unbroken at the western end of the room.

The nothics jump off the western platform and run to the center of the gallery. They circle the suspended cage like hungry dogs, then leap onto the cage. The haggard elf inside screams, and the nothics slowly claw their way toward Presto...
