ERIC and DIANA struggle to re-attach a giant wheel for their cart. Eric strains to lift the wheel but keeps slipping in the muddy road, collapsing with the wheel to the ground. Diana does her best to keep things steady, raising the cart with her Staff of Acrobats serving as a kind of jack.
PRESTO fumbles over himself again and again, trying to scoop up an abnormally large wooly frog with his sorcerer's hat.
Ah, Jeez! I thought this hunk of junk was supposed to *save* us time!
It would have, if Presto managed to summon a draft animal that doesn't shrink when getting wet!
Yeah, these things must be *dry* clean only! But hey, it wasn't *me* who managed to hit every puddle from here to Dessarin Valley! I thought you said you could drive, Eric!
I said I was getting my learner's permit.
The wooly frog leaps into a nearby bush, and Presto follows, launching himself in and grabbing a hold of... something. But what drags him out of the bush is not a wooly frog; Presto's got the ankle of ...
Dungeonmaster?!
Greetings, young ones. On the road to Neverwinter, quite literally?
You said we'd find our friends along the Sword Coast. But all I've found is a need for a bath!
You've never had trouble finding *that,* Eric.
Keep on until Neverwinter. There, you will find friends you didn't know you've had. For the people we aid in their time of trouble become true friends, indeed.
Hold on. As in "new friends?" I don't need any *new friends.* We can't even find the ones we already have!
Ah, but friends are those that help friends, are they not?
I don't know, Mr. *Friendly* Neighborhood Dungeon Master. Are *they*?
Eric makes a point of following the Dungeonmaster as he walks around the broken cart, clearly intending to press the issue, but when Eric rounds the corner...
Uh, Eric? Look!
Whoa! The wooly frog is full size again! And hitched to the cart! The wheel is back? I guess Dungeonmaster really does help, in some ways?
Sure. He's about as right as a broken clock. Say, what time *is* it, Mr. Dungeonmas-- Hey! Welp, he's disappeared again.
"Keep on until Neverwinter?" He must mean we are on the right track. Looks like the city's in this direction.
Well, all-llright! Going somewhere is better than gettin' nowhere. Climb aboard, guys! I'm drivin'!
With a loud "Hi-ya!", Eric sends the wooly frog bounding down the road, bouncing the cart in tow and keeping the three heroes holding on for dear life on the road to Neverwinter!
