The Saline girls' cross country team has a long standing tradition of giving back to the community that gives us the support that we need to be so successful. We are lucky to be a part of such a wonderful community and therefore try to give back as much as possible. Each athlete is required to volunteer at least once. All opportunities will be kept track of. For each volunteer completion past the first, the athlete will earn 0.5 varsity letter points up to a maximum of 2 pts.
XC Volunteer Opportunities 2022
All events are optional except for the Summerfest 5k (you must run or help out with the race in August). If you choose to volunteer at a race that is not in Saline, please show one of the captains a picture of you volunteering at the event during practice or send them the picture so that they can keep track of your hours and give you the correct amount of varsity points. Every time you volunteer besides the first mandatory one will contribute to your varsity points and your varsity letter at the end of the season! Thank you!
