Lesson #1
Overview:
SWBAT to identify key facts about a state's history of route 66, use secondary sources to research about a state's history of Route 66, communicate about a state's history through technology, and convert mileage and prices across time through collaborative group work. The students will be conducting research on Illinois given specific group roles. They will be playing a connection game, discussing the importance of connections, filling out a KW chart, reviewing credible sources, making a slide show, and vocabulary review.
