2.1 All Road Traffic Trainers without an active LOA are required to maintain an active presence on TeamSpeak & PLPD Online and regularly attend practical assessment stages, mark written assessment stages, and engage with any other administrative duties prescribed by Traffic Command.
2.2 Road Traffic Trainers marking a written or practical stage are expected to do so to a high standard in full compliance with the provided marking scheme.
2.3 Road Traffic Trainers who take a LOA must to inform Traffic Command 1 week prior to this leave.
2.4 Road Traffic Trainers are expected to notify Traffic Command of their availability for a practical assessment stage using the reactions provided on the Discord message or replying to it.
2.4.1 RTTs who fail to either notify a command member or react to the request at least ONE HOUR before the session will receive an activity strike.
2.4.1.1 An activity strike will not be issued if a RTT attends a session but does not notify using the bot.
2.4.1.2 A RTT may not be given an Activity Strike if their absence or failure to notify has a justifiable reason behind it.
2.4.2 If 2 strikes are received in relation to consecutive sessions, the RTT will be issued a final warning instead of the regular Activity Strike format. If the RTT is already on a Final Warning, the regular format applies leading to the subsequent Demotion.
2.4.3 If a RTT is on PLPD-sanctioned leave, they are not required to notify or react to practical requests.
2.5 All trainers are expected to show the utmost professionalism while representing the Road Traffic Unit on TeamSpeak, PLPD Online and the live PERPHeads server.
2.6 Road Traffic Trainers whose activity or performance is not of an acceptable standard will typically be offered a warning prior to disciplinary action being taken against them however this may be disregarded as per 2.7.
2.7 Traffic Command reserves the right to remove any Traffic Trainer from their role if they don’t believe they are required as a Trainer or aren’t performing their duties correctly even without prior warning.
