Most genetics are related to equine genetics, and if you are ever lost, they can be referenced for your designs.
Genotypes are laid out in this order:Dilute & base coat / Modifier / Patterns

Base colors, red, brown, and black are the backbone of nearly all of the genetics.
Other genes may have many more color variations, but can be achieved by "layering" red, brown, and black bases.
