This week was mainly focused on updating the UI. It wasn't as much technical work, but I made the meters in illustrator and adjusted my battle scene to work with the new system. I think the ui looks and feels a million times better. I also implemented 'examine mode'. I wanted to do this as a kind of quick fix for being able to read descriptions for cards, especially as I implement the Major Arcana's unique abilities. I think I'd still like to make a dedicated menu for this eventually, however.
Next week, I'd like to continue with my ui overhaul, and continue implementing more abilities. I'd like to come up with a better way to color code the cards without it looking too busy. There are also some weird bugs that need to be fixed, and I might need to refactor some of the ability and boss code.
