Overview
What is the Progression Department? Progression’s job is to focus on ensuring that the progression of Officers is maintained to a specific standard, to include the progression for low ranking members who desire to become an Officer. The department enforces that Officers meet their quota within every week and uphold standards during their events. This Guideline will demonstrate a grading rubric for evaluations as well as a guideline to allow Officers to understand and know their expectations for low ranks and fellow Officers desiring to move up in rank.
Rank tasks:
Progression General
The Progression General’s duty is to lead Progression, oversee Progression Seniors and Executives. The General ensures that Progression runs up to standards and makes sure that Seniors are active.
Progression Senior
The Progression Senior is the second-highest rank in Progression. Those who are Progression Seniors are given tasks by the General. In order to obtain this rank, you must be personally picked by the Progression General. There may only be 3 Seniors at once. There are 2 Progression Seniors that lead one Sector of Progression, that being Event Management and Quota Management.
Progression Executive
The progression Executive is a rank you earn for being active as a Progression Official, they are tasked with assisting the Progression Seniors on their duties. The Progression Executive gets to pick one Sector they wish to work in and then they assist the Senior with the sector’s duties.
Event Management
The Event Management Sector would be in charge of reviewing all of the Evaluations done, ensuring that all events are of good quality, taking care of Officers that had a low evaluation score, ensuring that evaluators evaluate events correctly, and anything about events.
Quota Management
The Quota Management Sector would be in charge of ensuring that everybody completes their quotas, making sure that all evaluations are claimed, assigning any evaluations older than 1 week to a Progression Official+, ensuring that votes are always put up on the Trello etc. This Sector would also ensure the progression of Trials and that they score well.
Progression Official
To become a Progression Official, you have to prove yourself worthy for it and follow the Trainee System.
Progression In Training
Progression trainees are Sergeant + that have to pass their trial week and have to show interest in Progression. These members will be required to unofficially evaluate Officers together with Progression Officials to gain practice and to ensure that the notes that they have taken are up to the standards.
