All needed information to host Combat Trainings for Templars is found in this document. Please read this document thoroughly before doing any Combat Training events and it’s highly recommended for new Sub-Officers/Officers of the Templars Officer Core. Hosting Expectations
Successful training must have the following aspects:
The event must last a minimum of 30-35 minutes
At least 5-6 rounds in 30-35 minutes (Rounds should be between 4-6 minutes depending on the game mode)
Good communication with the attendance.
Give helpful tips and encourage them such as “Good job Red Team!” and “Nice work Blue Team!”.
Ensure that you are engaged with your trainees by answering their questions that they may have.
Good execution, all rounds should be started quickly without any errors. Intermissions can last a maximum of 2 minutes.
Respond to members who have requested a respawn as their weapon may have glitched.
Excellent maturity. As an Officer of Templars, you are expected to be in high standard. Read the Officer Documents for more information.
Using grammar during your events as you are expected to.
Toxicity and Harassment should never be seen from you.
Don’t act like a Clown or be a total Nuisance as members look up to you.
Don’t wear any packages in uniform or during your events.
Procedures
The maximum honor for this event is 7. First, you have to get to the server and set it up before you host. For now, we use future tops as Kadex is experiencing issues and is in Development. Make sure you set up the setmessage, use the command :h or :setmessage (Type in the text you want) to set the message, it should look like something like this:
After you have your script ready and everything else you can shout the event. You will need at least 4-5 attendance to host the event.
After you have gotten enough you can use the :m command, simply just use the :m (And just type the message that you want everyone to see), this command is useful for introducing yourself at the beginning and stating the rules of the event. It should look like this:
After you have introduced yourself and have stated the rules you need to begin the round, you simply need to do :rteam all Red Blue (This command will allow everyone to be teamed to the Red and Blue teams and it will balance it by 1:1), after you have balanced the teams you will have to go to the menu, here is a screenshot what will show the menu: After you have pressed the menu button this will show up:
Simply follow the next step, you will have to press the maps icon after you have pressed it, it will show you a couple of maps that you can choose from, for now, I will choose Castletops:
After selecting a map you will have to press the tools icon below, it’s right next to the maps icon. You will be given a bunch of choices of weapons that you will need to select for the round:
For my choice I have selected the SMG, after selecting the weapons next you will have to select a game-mode for the map, you will have to go to GMs, it’s way over to the right side, press it and it will show you 4 game-modes from where you can choose from:
I just selected Team Deathmatch. After you have selected everything you will have to press ‘’START SELECTED’’ for everything. It’s right above everything you must click ‘’START SELECTED’’ it will change the map, weapon, and game-mode:
After you select everything you want, you will have to do :start so the round can begin.
Conclusion
Now that the event has reached the required time of 30-35 minutes you can either go to overtime to do some more rounds or you can simply conclude it. Team everyone to the spectators team and make them STS (Shoulders to Shoulders) and after that get the screenshots of the leaderboard to add honor. After you have the screenshots you can dismiss them and answer any question that they may have. Once the event has ended you will have to verify your event using the Event Verification form. Now that you have verified the event you will have to add the honor of your event, note that you can add honor to yourself from the event.
