Overview
The document was created by the High-Administration of Templars to act as a Guide on how to correctly host on the Facility Kadex. It is highly recommended for Sub-Officers or Officers to review this document and understand how the facility works. If you still have questions after reviewing this document please forward them to any experienced Officer with the Facility or High-Command member for a brief explanation on how everything works.
Main Selection GUI
When you first join the Facility Kadex makes sure that it is not occupied by another Host or by Chevalier Officers as the Sub-Division also tends to use Kadex quite a lot whenever they are hosting events. You have to get familiar with the Main Selection GUI that can be found at the left side of your screen.
Claim Host - Allows you to claim the Host position so you get hosting permissions.
Evaluation Mode - This is for Evaluations, when you click on it, it will allow you to type the name of the individual you are evaluating and it will automatically activate.
Spectate - Allows you to spectate a random person attending the event.
Uniforms - Allows you to equip and wear available uniforms for your rank. You have to have the ‘’Keep on Respawn’’ box with an X to respawn wearing a uniform.
View Honor - Allows you to see how much honor you have currently earned, for now it still doesn’t provide you honor automatically after conclusion of the even
Trainer GUI
When you have already pressed the ‘’Claim Host’’ button you can see a new GUI popped up, it is called the Trainer GUI and you will be using it a lot when you are hosting. It’s still located at the left side of your screen.
Abandon Host - It is pretty self explanatory as if you click it, it will remove your Host permissions and will put you back on the Templar/Trainees Team.
Set CoHost - After pressing it, it will allow you to type the name of the individual that you have chosen to be your Co-Host for the event.
Start Session - Once clicked, it will prompted if you wish
to start the session. By clicking it everyone will receive a message saying that the session started and everyone will receive honor for every 12.5 Minutes of them being within the Facility.
After clicking ‘’Start Session’’ you will receive a Trainers Menu that you will have to click in order to open up Trainers Menu in order to set up rounds and begin them. You will have to add honor manually if you are hosting a Templars Combat Training since the honor bot is still not implemented.
Trainer Menu
As mentioned before after you have clicked the ‘’Trainer Menu’’ button you will receive the Trainer Menu where you get all kinds of swords, maps, game-modes that you can use and even set up basic requirements for honor such the the DMG and Kill requirement as well as the OS (Death Counter before respawning back as Templar/Trainees Team) and that’s not all you can end and starts rounds early, even set up a timer when the round should end if it exceeds more than 5 minutes or so as each round should last at least 4-6 minutes and nothing longer or lower.
You click on the rounds that you want to do next and you can set up a round even when there is a round currently taking place, you will just have to avoid pressing the ‘’End Round’’ button that can be found clicking the little gear icon at the picture above. Make sure that introduce the rounds before beginning them and give ending messages and congratulate the winning team such as ‘’Good job Red Team, better luck next time Blue!’’ and such. Don’t use the same ending round messages as it will sound robotic. Packages are never allowed in Templars Events and Chevalier Events as a Host you should not allow something like this, same with massive T-Shirts that block the whole uniform. You have to be strict sometimes with the attendance as they have to follow the rules that you have introduced at the beginning of the event, members are not allowed to dance when they are in STS (Shoulders to Shoulders) you have to prevent this from happening when you are hosting. Exploring around the facility is prohibited as the members have to remain within STS (Shoulders to Shoulders) at all times when they are in the lobby. Make sure that everyone is wearing their uniforms as some members tend to forget to wear one. Always be communicative with the attendance and welcome new attendance that decided to join the event, if the trainees have questions it is your duty as a host to answer them in your best ability. Don’t use the same swords, gamemodes, and maps more than once as members tend to get bored from them pretty fast and complain.
Conclusion
After the event has reached around 35 minutes, you can see how much it lasts as there is a timer that shows above your screen. The timer begins when you officially begin the event and not from when you shout it. You have to press the ‘’End Session’’ button that is located at the left side of your screen, same as the Trainer GUI. It will show in the global chat that it has awarded honor to everyone as their names will start to pop up, as the honor bot is not still implemented it means nothing and you have to add the honor manually. Make sure you get the names of the attendance and dismiss them from the event.
